Mental Health Support

The Power in You Project support participants with a wide range of Mental Health challenges. Workers have training in Mental Health First Aid and many have higher education level qualifications in the field. We have an onsite psychologist available to all participants either through their NDIS plan or through the Mental Health Care Plan.

We offer a 10 week program targeted at Mental Health. The program aims to educate individuals through a holistic approach of four core components, similar to our Addiction Support; focus on the mind through education, the body through healthy living, the spirit through increasing self-worth and self-esteem and identifying core beliefs through the creation of meaningful goals. The program aims to increase motivation and ability to cope with ongoing mental health challenges in a safe and nurturing environment.

The Power in You Project recognises that mental health challenges can be long-lasting and aim to help participants to gain skills and coping mechanisms to best help them to build strong self-belief, esteem and image of themselves, regardless of the struggles they face.
